M. L. Ramey writes character-focused fantasy and science fiction full of found family and complicated parent-child relationships.
Born, raised, and still residing not far from Washington, D.C., she spent a small but significant portion of her childhood in Smithsonian museums. The rest was spent at her local library, where she has worked in some capacity (unofficial helper, official volunteer, actual employee) since she was six.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and is currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science. When not writing, she likes to knit, embroider, and create spreadsheets so complicated her friends and family aren’t sure whether to be amazed or terrified by them.
